One Month Old

Deacon is one month old! Wow so crazy how fast time goes. He is still mostly sleeping although we are starting to see him do some funny things. Such as his poses when he's sleeping-the one in the orange shirt for example, so not posed by me or James. We also change him in the living room a lot and he has become addicted to staring at the TV when we are doing so...a habit we'll have to break in the future. He loves his daddy and loves to snuggle with him. It is such an adventure to have this little guy and to learn about him as he gets older. We love him so much!

Deacon meets the Pattersons

All of James' siblings were in town this weekend. We had a few late nights and lots of good times. It was SO GOOD to see the Overdiek's and the Barker's who met Deacon for the first time. Deacon also met his very first cousins. Quinn wanted to hold him all the time and I think Lexi got in some quality time with her first Patterson cousin as well. Deacon will certainly be one well loved child.
