Christmas 2009

This year we were able to go to VA for Christmas with my side of the family. It was exhausting but fun. I am no longer used to the time change. I slept for twelve hours by the time we made it back to UT. We had some impromptu family pictures since who knows when we will all be able to get together again, but they turned out pretty cute I must say for being on a gorilla pod and with no prep time.

The Lights at Temple Square

So I do my share of complaining about living in Utah, but one thing that I absolutely love are the lights at temple square every year after Thanksgiving. This year James and I went down with his mom and his sister Emilee and her husband Brent. We got there early and it was cool to actually watch them turn (if not a little anti-climactic). It was cold but not as cold as a few years ago when we went with the whole fam. Anyway, these are some pics from temple square, it really doesn't do justice, you have to come see for yourself.

So I don't think I'm cut out to be a dog photographer but some of them turned out pretty hysterical. Sixth one down is my fave, except Jeff's eyes are closed! GAH.
