Deacon and Braden's Birthday Party

Deacon's cousin Braden was born on his birthday last year. This year we celebrated their first and second birthdays at Braden's grandparents house. They had an awesome train cake, made by Rachel, of course, and got lots of cool presents. Deacon tried to pull off his piece of the train and play with it, but promptly wanted his hands cleaned of all the frosting. Braden, however, dug right in,

Father's Day

My Boys

Today we went to take some photos of the boys at a photo studio that we frequent. We got some 2-year pictures of Deacon and some pictures of Carter and some of the 2 together. Carter was a trooper, as usual. Deacon, on the other hand, was not into any of it, though eventually the photographer got him calmed down and got a few shots of him not freaking out. You can tell by his slightly grumpy expression in the photos that this was not his idea of a good time.
