Since Deacon's six month old mark and Christmas Eve fell on the same day, I decided to do both picks at the same time. They came out pretty darn cute if I do say so myself (and I do).
This last weekend we went downtown with Meredith and Kevin, and Meredith's parents. We got to see some cool gingerbread houses at the Grand America Hotel and went to see the lights on temple square as well. I love the lights at temple square, but it was totally crazy downtown and getting there on TRAX was nuts too. The lights, however, were totally worth it. There were quite a few less lights than in the past, but still worth the effort.
Years ago I went to the Salt Lake Family Christmas Gift Show armed with $30 and Rachel's instructions to find her a cute wreath. I found an awesome one, which I only have a picture of on my cell phone, but it was so cute. For years I have been looking for something to equal that wreath's awesomeness. I have never found anything I liked as much, so this year I just decided to duplicate it myself and this is the end product:
We were very busy this past weekend attending ward parties and shopping for Christmas presents and attending the Festival of Trees. There were some really cool trees this year, but it was majorly crowded since we didn't go until the very last night and it was hard to move around people. So these pictures are from our weekend.
