Fall 2010

This last weekend I took some pictures for Meredith and Kevin and Meredith did some pictures for us. I haven't included them all in the event that I use some for Christmas cards, but here are some faves from the shoot.

Deacon's first food

We had a good time last night introducing Deacon to the exciting new world of solids. Well, semi-solids. It was some pretty soupy oatmeal. But he has been watching us eat a lot lately and last week he tried to steal a cup cake right out of James' hand. He got the hang of eating from the spoon after awhile, but I'm still pretty sure that the majority of it was on his hands/face/bib. We also took some pretty funny video on my phone but I have yet to be able to figure out how to upload that...

Deacon's first Halloween

Deacon was a cute Dinosaur for his first Halloween though we think if he just had wings he would have been more like Elliot from Pete's Dragon. Anyway, we spent Friday night at James' parents ward trunk or treating with Deacon and mom and dad got a pretty good haul of candy from our little boy's cuteness. Saturday we took Deacon to visit James' brother and his wife. We also took him to visit some friends from our ward but I didn't take any pictures there. It was a rainy Saturday and yes folks, when Halloween falls on a Sunday us Utahns celebrate on Saturday. So we got some good candy and we never did make it back to Engh gardens for more pictures because of the rain/snow/cold that took place most of last week. It's supposed to be warmer this week, so we'll see.
