I mainly took this video because he kept copying me when I was trying to feed him the other night and I thought his facial expressions were hilarious.

Easter
My mom came to visit us over spring break and we had fun hitting up all the DIs we could find, taking a trip to Logan and visiting with my aunt and her family. Deacon did pretty good for his first Easter and liked taking stuff out of his Easter basket but didn't really care to spend much time with anything that he pulled out of it. (Poor James exhausted after another all-nighter at the VA nursing home)

Lots of Videos
To follow are a ton of videos. When we took some video of Deacon last night and I noticed that there were 57 videos just sitting on the camera, I decided it was probably time to upload some. Don't feel bad if you don't watch them all, we just happen to think our kid is pretty cute and funny.
Tantrum
Deacon was throwing his first ever tantrum the other day over who knows what, complete with lying on his back, kicking, and screaming. When James pulled out the camera, this is what we got.
Deacon talks
Deacon has really been babbling lately. His favorite sounds are very high-pitched squeals. Which is great for sacrament meeting. James recorded him talking on his phone and when we play it back to him, he likes to talk to himself. I'm not sure what he thinks is going on, but maybe he'll be willing to talk to people on the phone soon?
Playing with mommy's hair and smacking daddy's head
Deacon loves to play with my hair and I don't mind it-i have a tough head AND I love when people play with my hair so it works out perfectly. Daddy's hair isn't as fun to play with but his head makes a cool sound when it's smacked :)
Deacon giggles
In going through the 57 videos that we had taken in the last few months, most of them were just of Deacon giggling. He giggles a lot. So here are a few of the cuter ones.
Deacon Loves the Camera
Our kid is a ham in front of the camera- video or still he'll stop whatever he's doing that we want to capture and smile for the camera.
